Dog Friendly Campervan Hire
We frequently receive enquiries about bringing dogs along, and we want you to know that we warmly welcome all dogs in our campervans.
Are dogs welcome in the campervans?
We are pleased to inform you that dogs are warmly welcomed in our campervans, allowing you to share these memorable adventures with your furry companions.
Are there early pick-up and late drop-off options?

We offer the convenience of early pick-up starting from 10 am and late drop-off until 7 pm. Each of these options is available for an additional fee of £50 per selection. This allows you the flexibility to plan your schedule with ease, whether you need to start early or extend your day.

Is there a deposit required?

A booking deposit of £150 is required to secure your booking.

Standard Hire
A deposit of £750 is due 1 days before arrival and released 3 days after departure

Festival Hire
A deposit of £1,000 is due 1 days before arrival and released 3 days after departure

Where can I check my driving license details for insurance purposes?

You can check your driving license details for insurance purposes on the DVLA website. Click on the link below to be taken to the DVLA website: www.gov.uk/view-driving-license

Is there a minimum driver age?
Drivers must be between 25 – 70 years old and have a full UK driving licence that has been valid for at least 2 years. If you have an international driving licence please contact us to arrange insurance.
What do I need to provide before the day of collection?

Driving Licence – Each Driver must present a full UK driving licence.

2 x Additional forms of ID

  • Utility Bill (Electric, Water, Gas, Broadband, Phone or Council Tax)
  • Bank Statement

Both forms of ID must be in the lead driver’s name, and dated within the last 90 days, with it matching the address of the lead driver’s UK licence.

Is there a charge for additional drivers?
Yes, there is a charge of £50 for each additional driver. This is to cover the additional insurance costs associated with having more than one driver on the policy
How much fuel do I need to return the Campervan with?

All our rentals are full to full. Failure to return the vehicle with a full tank of fuel will result in a deduction from your damage deposit to cover the cost of fuel. Beach Life Campervan Hire reserves the right to charge you for any lost revenue as a result of not returning the vehicle with a full tank of fuel.

What are the insurance requirements?
For insurance purposes, you must be aged 25-70 and hold a full UK driving license with no more than 6 points. You must also provide your driving license, two forms of ID, and a utility bill dated within the last 3 months.
Are there any smoking or vaping restrictions?
Yes, smoking and vaping are prohibited in both Gertie and Billy.
How easy is it to set up the campervan?
Setting up the campervan is a breeze with the electric pop top and the touch screen camping control panel. The electric pop top can be opened and closed with the touch of a button, and the touch screen camping control panel allows you to control the lights, fans, and other features of the campervan.
What features can I control with the touch screen control panel?
You can control the lights, fans, and other features of the campervan with the touch screen camping control panel. You can also use the touch screen camping control panel to set the temperature of the campervan’s climate control system.
