Do I need a special licence to drive a campervan?
No special licence is required to drive our campervans. A standard UK Category B driving licence is all you need. Our VW campervans are easy to handle, similar to driving a large car or van. They’re fitted with parking sensors and automatic transmissions, making them ideal for both first-time drivers and seasoned travellers. We also provide a full handover and demonstration before you set off so you feel completely confident behind the wheel.

All our campervans come fully equipped for your trip. You’ll find a kitchen area with a hob, sink, fridge and utensils, along with bedding, camping chairs and basic cleaning supplies. Can I take the campervan to Europe?
Yes, we do allow European travel with prior notice. Many of our customers love taking our vans to France, Spain, and across mainland Europe for extended holidays. We’ll just need to add European insurance and breakdown cover for your trip. It’s important that you mention your destination at the time of booking so we can prepare the correct documents and ensure you’re fully covered abroad.

Where do I collect the campervan?
Our campervans are collected from our base in Swindon, Wiltshire, which is close to the M4 and makes for easy access to the Cotswolds, South Wales, and South West England. We provide free parking for your car during your trip and clear directions to our location. Once you’ve checked in, we’ll take you through a full handover, show you how everything works, and help you set up your sat-nav or route plan before you leave.
